and Micromax Canvas A1, both of which are priced at $105 and $106 respectively. I know this might sound like giving a fierce competition to Moto G in this price bracket, but that is the point here. Considering the specifications of these smartphones, they both are pretty much identical. Having a 4.5 inch screen with an IPS display, a MediaTek MT6582 SoC processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, which is quad core, a Mali 400 MP2 GPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, and expandable storage with micro SD, a 5MP primary camera, and a 2MP secondary camera, dual SIM support, 1,700mAh replaceable batter. The only difference between both of these smartphones, is the design and minor tweaks done by the manufacturer in the OS.

One might expect these devices to give a pain to the user while using, but since they all run on stock Android, there will be hardly any lags that the user will experience. And not only that, both of these devices will get direct software updates from Google for up to 2 years after their launch. To top that off, the users will not be charged for updating their OS from their carrier.

Other countries are still waiting for the Android One update, but Google mentions that they will taking this one slowly. First they will be expanding to Indonesia, Philippines and South Asia (Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh), and then moving on to other parts of the world.
