Apple Releases New Music Memos App For iOS

Apple releases the new application, named Music Memos, which is addressed to musicians to capture their ideas to create music. As its name, this app has a function like a memo that is needed at a certain moment and to records it. Music Memos will record any musical instrument as high-quality, uncompressed audio, then you can name it, tag, give a rate, and save it in  a library, where has all your favorite new song parts and riffs, inside.

Interestingly, this app can detect your tempo, rhythmic feel and chord, also lets you instantly hear your musical idea accompanied by a rhythm section with realistic drums and bass. Furthermore, you can continue your music using Garageband to add more instruments. The last thing, you can share your recordings with friends or directly to the Apple Music Connect.

Phil Schiller, currently responsible for the App Store ecosystem across all Apple platforms, to bring Music Memos with the expectation to become the main option for the musicians in capturing their ideas with ease.

“Musicians around the world, from the biggest artists to aspiring students, use Apple devices to create amazing music; the innovative new Music Memos app will help them quickly capture their ideas on iPhone and iPad whenever inspiration strikes,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.

The critically acclaimed singer-songwriter and producer, Ryan Adams said:

“Sometimes ideas come faster than I can get them into my notebook so I’ve used Voice Memos and Notes to quickly capture songs before they’re lost. Music Memos is like if those two apps came together to form some kind of superpower for songs,”.

“It quite literally blew my mind how Music Memos could transform a single guitar idea into a whole composition with a virtual drummer loose enough that it felt like you were having your mind read by some A.I. musician and a choice of stand-up or electric bass accompaniments.”

You can  download Music Memos in the App Store for free.
