How to completely remove Xbox app from Windows 10

  • First, go to the menu Start and find the research bar.
  • Write in PowerShell, and hit the Enter key on your keyboard. Once the PowerShell is found, click on the option Run PowerShell as an administrator.
  • You will have opened a new, navy-blue window, where you will have to write the specific command. The command that needs to be typed in is Get-AppxPackage Microsoft XboxApp / Remove-AppxPackage and now hit the Enter key from the keyboard.
  • Now, you will have to wait a minute or two, so the computer can finish the procedure. Typing this command, you have practically ordered your computer to delete the Xbox app from your operating system. And that was all you had to do about removing it.
  • You will still have a PowerShell opened, and if you want to close it, you need to write in a command. To do that, write Exit and squeeze the Enter key on the keyboard.

Deleting the Xbox app is very easy, but sometimes the app can be re-downloaded if the operating system needs an update. In that case, you can repeat the procedure and have it removed once again.
