To make gif from YouTube video is simple, just follow the instructions:

Open YouTube in your browser.

Find your favorite video that you want to convert to GIF.

When you find a clip on YouTube, you need to add “gif” text in the front of the domain name. See the example below:

Original YouTube link:

//www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEc9WVAVCVc

GIF version of YouTube link:

https://www.gifyoutube.com/watch?v=oEc9WVAVCVc

Then press enter and you will be redirected to the new page – to the GIF version of YouTube.

There you can specify the start and the end of your animation, as well as the total duration time. The maximum is 15 seconds. You will see the buttons “Slide to set start time”, and “Slide to set duration” with which you can capture the favorite part of your video.

After you choose the right part, click on “Create GIF” button and you will be redirected to the new page. There you will see “gif file” link to the right of your created GIF. Copy and paste that link in the address bar of your browser and press enter. With the right mouse button, click on GIF that opens and select “Save image as…” to save it on your computer.
