Galaxy S6 Not Registered On Network

The worst thing about the problem is it doesn’t let you make or receive calls or text messages. The main reason for ‘Not Registered on Network’ is that the phone doesn’t recognize the SIM card. And if the phone is unable to recognize the SIM card, then the service provider cannot connect with the IMEI and thus can’t connect to the phone.

Step 1:

Disable All Wireless Connectivity.

Turn on the Airplane Mode, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it off again. Now, check your connectivity.

Step 2:

Remove and Reinsert SIM Card.

Remove the SIM card from its slot on your Galaxy S6, wait for one minute, and then put it back to your phone.

Step 3:

Open Settings > tap on Software Update > wait until the downloading process is complete, then tap Install it. After the installing process is done, the phone will restart.

Another method:

Go to Settings > Wireless and Networks Mobile > Networks. Here, press the Home button for 2 – 3 seconds, then press the power button for 15 seconds without releasing the Home button. The phone will reboot after a few seconds.

Corrupted IMEI and EFS Folder

Go to Settings > About Phone > check the Baseband and IMEI version. If you see ‘Unknown’, it means your IMEI has been corrupted.” Try to flash the different custom Roms and Mods.
